Privacy policy
This policy describes what personal data we process. It follows the revised Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (revDSG) as in force since 1 September 2023.
Controller
Barbora Augustin, Bernhofstrasse 45, 8134 Adliswil, Schweiz. Contact for data protection matters: info@trickboxes.ch.
Data minimisation by design
This is a static website. It sets no cookies, embeds no analytics or advertising services, and loads no fonts, scripts or images from third-party servers. As long as you only read the site, no profile and no account is created.
Hosting
The site is served by Cloudflare, Inc. on the Cloudflare Pages platform. When a page is requested, Cloudflare processes technically necessary connection data, in particular IP address, time of the request, requested address and user agent. This processing serves secure and stable operation and rests on our overriding interest in a functioning service.
Cloudflare may also process data outside Switzerland and the EU. Such transfers are based on standard contractual clauses.
Ordering and payment via Stripe
The purchase does not take place on this website. The buy button takes you to a payment page hosted by Stripe. There, Stripe Payments Europe, Limited processes the data needed to conclude the contract and take payment.
This typically covers name, email address, Swiss delivery address, the product purchased and the amount, plus payment method and payment status. Card numbers and TWINT credentials are processed by Stripe alone and are never disclosed to us in clear text.
From Stripe we receive the details we need for shipping, bookkeeping and warranty. The legal basis is performance of the contract of sale.
Stripe's own privacy policy is available at stripe.com/privacy.
Shipping
For delivery we pass your name and delivery address to Swiss Post (Die Schweizerische Post AG). No further details are transmitted.
Email correspondence
If you write to us, we keep your message and your address in order to answer the enquiry and to follow the history of it. Unencrypted email is not a secure channel. Please do not send us payment details by email.
Retention
Order and invoice records are kept for ten years, as required by Art. 958f of the Swiss Code of Obligations. Ordinary correspondence is deleted once it is no longer needed, at the latest after two years.
Your rights
You have the right to information, correction, deletion and data portability, and the right to object to processing. A short email to info@trickboxes.ch is enough. We may ask you to prove your identity before we disclose information.
You may also lodge a complaint with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) in Bern.
Changes
We amend this policy when our processing changes. The version published on this page is the one that applies.
